This opera production will be directed by great polish actress and director Krystyna Janda and Monika Wolińska will conduct an orchestra and singers. We invite you to a symphonic concert performed by the Polish Orchestra Sinfonia Iuventus under the baton of Monika Wolińska.

Monika Wolińska received a special award for lifetime artistic work, in form of silver statuette of Kazimierz Andrzej Jaworski for achievements in the field of artistic creation, dissemination and protection of cultural heritage, awarded by President of City of Chełm – Agata Fisz. It’s a great honor, beacuse great Chelm citizen – Ida Haendel can be found on laureates list.  

Monika Wolińska led the Polish Radio Orchestra during the recording of music for Lech Majewski’s “Valley of the Gods”. Jan AP Kaczmarek is responsible for the music composition. Recordings took place at the Polish Radio Studio in Warsaw.

On January 19th, Monika Wolińska will receive a special KAJ award for lifetime achievement. The distinction of name of Kazimierz Andrzej Jaworski is granted in the field of artistic creation, dissemination and protection of cultural goods. It’s an incredible honor, because the laureates are the great Ida Haendel.
